Meet Chris
I have been engaged in Sales, Business Development and Strategy over forty years. Seeing the sales area evolve into a structured and defined process that is built on relationships. I have had time to refine my skills in how sales connect to Commercial, Operations, Financial and legal risk. I have been successful on complex sales to the Mining, Oil and Gas, Mining, Industrials and Renewables market. Working through the challenges on long term positioning, pre-tenders and tendering through to implementation.
I understand what makes a good deal and what can help plan to get there. Using technology to connect sales plans to operational and financial forecasts. I understand the need for good account management and what to do in being the connection between the customer and the business. If your customer relationship is not strong then the competitors can start nibbling away at your business with the customer, diminish your reputation and generally make work hard.
I find the challenge is maintaining the customer focus and relationship with the long term business plans and ensuring the viability of what you do.
